Legal
Cookiepolicy.
Most cookie policies are long because most websites track their visitors. This one is short.

Draft for review. This document describes how the website currently works, but it has not yet been checked by a legal adviser and contains details still to be confirmed. Do not treat it as final.
This site does not use cookies
This website sets no cookies at all — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences. It also stores nothing in your browser through any other means: no local storage, no session storage, no device fingerprinting.
There is no analytics package on this site. We do not measure visitors, we do not run A/B tests, and there are no advertising or social media tracking pixels anywhere on it.
That is why you are not being asked to accept or reject cookies. There is nothing to consent to.
What is loaded from elsewhere
One thing is worth being straight about. The photographs on this site are currently served by Unsplash, a third-party image host, rather than from our own servers.
When your browser fetches those images it connects to Unsplash directly, and Unsplash can see your IP address, your browser type and which page requested the image — the same information any website receives when you visit it. Unsplash does not receive anything you type into our forms, and this is not something we use to identify or track you.
We intend to host our own photography, which will remove that connection entirely.
What the forms do
The contact and admissions forms send what you type to us when you press the button, and nothing before that. Nothing you enter is saved in your browser, and nothing is sent anywhere if you fill in a form and then leave without submitting it.
See the privacy policy for what happens to a submission after we receive it.
If this changes
If we later add analytics, embedded video, a chat widget, or anything else that sets cookies or tracks visitors, we will update this page before it goes live and put a proper consent mechanism in place where one is required.
[TO CONFIRM — if analytics is added, whether consent is required under Cameroonian law and under the GDPR for EU visitors. Worth settling before anything is added.]
Controlling cookies generally
Even though this site sets none, every browser lets you see and delete cookies other sites have set, and block them. Look under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking cookies will not affect anything on this site.
